New Old Song....!

So apparently this song was in an Ipod commercial last year, but considering I don't have cable, it's only understandable that I haven't seen the commercial or heard of the song I'm about to share with you....

"Music is My Boyfriend" is by a band from Europe called CSS which actually stands for something else that I completely forgot and am too lazy to wikipedia it. So check it out, I'm sure you'll have this one on repeat!

(p.s. TURN IT UP LOUD!)

My Current Guilty Pleasure...

So I found these two lovely songs ACTUALLY sang by members of the Pussycat Dolls that AREN'T named Nicole.

The first is sang by the one with the long dark hair (that ISN'T Nicole), Jessica Sutta. It's called "If I Was a Man". You'll most likely hate it the first and possible second and third listens, but give it time, and you'll find yourself singing this during your History of Science lecture!

The second is by the ugly blonde one, Kimberly Wyatt. Titled "Don't Wanna Fall In Love", this song is pure 80's pop. I myself am not a fan of the 80's, but put a Pussycat Dolls twist on it and you've got me hooked.

Give them a listen!

Just have something to say....

I just wanted to touch on what's going on in California regarding marriage rights in this state.

Only a few months ago, May 15th, 2008 to be precise, the California Supreme Court ruled against Proposition 22 (which stated that marriage in California was defined as being between a man and woman) and allowed gays and lesbians to marry.

Now, a new Proposition, "Proposition 8", has been put forward in order to counter act what the California Supreme Court did back in May.

Now to be honest, hearing about this kind of shit really upsets me. How dare anyone feel they deserve the right to deny others the ability to marry. We love who we love, regardless of race, sex, religious backgrounds, etc... How dare they think that they are "protecting" the idea of the proper "family". Studies have shown that same sex couples with kids fair just as well as Heterosexual couples with kids. The only reason children of same sex parents have any extra problems at all is because of the shit that Homophobic people put them through.

I hate that in a world that has made so much progress in so many areas, we are still dealing with crap like this.

So for any of my readers from California, or for people who have friends and family in California, please make sure to make the proper vote: PLEASE VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION 8!!!!

I'm Back!!

So I have a slewwwww of new music for you, since it's been quite a while since my last post!!

I'd like to headline this post with news of the new Pussycat Dolls album, "Doll Domination". If you didn't already know, the album has found its way onto the web, before its release date of September 23rd. The most worthy downloads from the album include "Halo", "I'm Done", "Magic", "I Hate This Part" and of course "When I Grow Up" and "Whatcha Think About That". Check them out!!

In other music news, I have the following songs for you to check out!

- Girls Aloud have released their new single for their upcomming album. The track is titled "The Promise", and like all of their previous hits, it's very catchy and upbeat.

- Ciara's new album "Fantasy Ride" is slowly leaking across the net, and my favorite song so far from this album is called "Click Flash". It's got a very catchy hook, similar to Fergies "Glamorous".

- Monrose has released their latest single from their upcomming album. The single "Hit & Run" is fast and catchy, a good start to a new album!

- Ashley Tisdale actually has a song I like for once. It's called "I'm Back", and although fairly repetitive, it's definetely catchy and worth a listen.

- Kanye West is out with a new single with a very different sound. "Love Lockdown" is a very smooth, easy listen.
